Promoting opportunities for
friendship between international
students and Americans

IFC exists to equip local organizations to develop “Friends with International Students” (aka FIS) programs
that connect international students and American friends in meaningful ways. Our programs cultivate a safe
place for Americans and international students to exchange ideas with mutual respect, resulting in trust.

Our goal is to maintain ongoing rapport with the International Friendship Club through providing resources
that will ensure that the International Friendship Club can remain a strong and relevant presence among
the extensive community of international students on campus.
